- Only join if you plan on doing collabs with fellow artists. Don't send us a note and request to join, but never contact any artists once signed up.
- If you and another artist have agreed to collab, send us a note here on :devcollaborate: telling us both usernames so we can put you under Collabs: In Progress.
- If there are already three Co-Admins listed, do not contact us inquiring if you can be a co-admin.
- Don't sit around waiting for someone to request your name. Go look around and find an artist you like and join up!
- If you sign up, add us to your watch list so you can be aware of any new updates. Also, we'll add you to ours so that if any new artists sign up in the same category as you, we'll send you a note!
- Once you and your collab mate have finished, send us a note and we'll save the image from your gallery, and post it in ours with links to both of your sites. Joining this club gives us permission to post this work. We will not be taking credit for it. We'll be merely giving you more recognition. Comments will be disabled, which will require deviants to visit your gallery to comment on the piece. And +favs will be highly discouraged on our site, also.
CAQ
What is a collaboration? A collaboration is where two artists work on the same image and post it in their galleries. The perfect example of this would be :devdualdesigns: as she does quite a few collabs with fellow artists.
So why do we even need this group? It's hard to find out of these thousands of deviants, which will be willing to collab with other artists. So with :devcollaborate: you can come here, find someone quickly, and send them a note!
Why don't you have a space for Traditional artists? For a collaboration, one must start something, hand it to the other person, and they would finish it. Or something similar. If you have a drawing on paper, how are you going to hand it over to someone... say... in another country? Anything that is Digital is a lot easier to transfer. If you draw line art, and want to find someone who colors, we will have a section for digital colorers, along with digital and traditional line artists.
